Jim has focused his education and understanding of the local commercial real estate market by gathering knowledge from a variety of sources and the relationships he has carefully developed over the last 21 years. As a CCIM and SIOR designee, Jim brings a high level expertise, market knowledge and ethical standards to every transaction. Working with corporate, industrial, and state and localgovernment clients, Jim specializes in vacant land, industrial sites, and investment properties. Jim has extensive knowledge of available properties in surrounding areas.

Recent success stories include the sale of the Gilmore Park Apartments, an 82-unit apartment complex, the creation and sale of a $2,000,000 sale lease/back of a 78,000 sq ft dock high warehouse, and the sale of 100 acre industrial site. Jim has also overseen the development of a 30 acre, large lot residential subdivision, and the sale of at 87 acre residential tract in West Jefferson Parish. Jim’s reach expands outside of the New Orleans area with the sale of a 65-acre Houma shipyard, as well as a multi-million dollar, multi-party transaction that included the sale of 280 acres of Mississippi River Batture property in St. Charles Parish.

Jim maintains a database of literally thousands of potential purchasers for marine-related properties. He also keeps close ties to major waterfront property owners and users through his active participation in the Harvey Canal Industrial Association. Additionally, Jim has provided real estate consulting and brokerage services to most of the major banks in Louisiana, as well as the FDIC and the RTC.
